This Free UK Sample started way back in 1978, and is coming to you once again just in time for spring. This warning to you is in advance, just so you can prepare yourself accordingly. (Don’t say we don’t care about you!)
I wonder if these Ben & Jerry characters are real people. Or are they simply a figment of corporate imagination? I suppose it doesn’t make a difference. The real matter at hand is HOW do I become a part of this free UK sample?
Ben & Jerry’s (real or otherwise) will be handing out freebies on what they call “Fair Cone Day.” All of this in an effort to promote the fact that they’ve now gone 100% fair trade.
The date to keep is April 27th, so mark it on your calendars. In your smartphones. Or in writing on your forehead. Whatever works.
This free UK sample is not an all day affair, however. The time to visit your participating location is from 1-5pm. Perfect timing for a post-lunch dessert or a mid afternoon snack. Wouldn’t you agree?
There’s about 50 stores across the UK and Ireland to serve you. So there’s really no excuse to let this free sample slip out of your hand and onto the floor in a heaping melt-y thud.
